Praying for God's Will

The third petition is praying for God's will to be done. The Heidelberg Catechism approaches the Lord's Day from the point of view of our will. Our will must always be put into submission to God's will. These two often strive one with the other. It is important for us to understand God's will, so that we can take care to keep our will such that it does not contradict God's. We consider this in detail.
