First Petition of the Lord's Prayer

We continue to build on the foundation of prayer, with our Father for Jesus' sake. In the model prayer given to us by Christ, we have six petitions, divided in half. The first three deal with our relationship to God, followed by three related to our needs and spiritual welfare and the closing doxology. We deal first with the 1st petition dealing with the virtues of God and His glory represented in His name. A foundation for the rest of our prayer.
