Addressing God

Last Sunday, we discussed how prayer is an inherent part of the child of God and his native breath. This week we discuss how to approach God in prayer. We are given an example by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Lord's Prayer. This can be considered the model prayer - one that can emulate as we approach the Holy throne. We must approach God in a certain way and the way we do so is the very ground and foundation of all our petitions. It is fundamental for prayer to begin by giving God the glory and approaching Him in honor. From this attitude comes the rest of our prayer. We consider this in more detail.
