God takes blasphemy seriously

Stephen is charged with blasphemy. The Bible gives many examples that help us understand what it is: 2 Kings 19:10-16,22; Matt 12:22-24,31; Matt 26:59-65; Luke 22:63-65, 2 Sam 12:14. Paul charges Timothy in 1 Tim 1:18-20 about those who mock & ridicule. Blasphemy is prohibited in Eph 4:29-32. Stephen is charged with four accusations of blasphemy: against Moses, God, the law and the tabernacle. Stephen addresses each charge in Acts 7. We must not give in to this blasphemous world today!
