Jehoram and Ahaziah

The reign of King Ahab brought ruin to Northern Israel, but godly King Jehoshaphat's inexplicable alliance with King Ahab almost brought Judah to ruin.

Had it not been for the promises and covenant faithfulness of God, the entire royal line of David would have been exterminated, which is exactly what Satan would have loved to have done.
