Striving for Significance

As civilizations grew after the Flood, man sought to make a name for himself by building a memorial to his own significance. But God came down, confused their languages, and scattered humanity. The only abiding legacy of Babel is that man will only be frustrated and confounded when he seeks blessing, security, significance, or immortality apart from the God who gives those things as a free gift.
