Like Sheep for Slaughter

There are times in life when despite our best attempts, though faulty, to serve God, He seems to send calamity and destruction to us. It is for the Lord's sake that His people are considered as sheep to be slaughtered: others hate us because they hate Him. They cannot separate us, despite their best efforts, from the love of God for us in Christ Jesus.
