The Israel of the New Covenant
Series An Exposition of Hebrews
77
The New Covenant is both "new" and "different" than the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant was a legal, temporary, and national covenant made with an ethnic people. The New Covenant is a gracious, eternal, and spiritual covenant made with those from every tongue, tribe, people, and nation. This message explores the nature of the Old Covenant vs. the New with examples of how both Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism fall short in their attempts to understand the Old in light of the New.
