Be Thankful for the Mediator of Your Marriage (Moses' Mediation re: Golden Calf)

Right after God gives Moses the marriage contract in the Two Tables of stone, He reveals His plan to annul the marriage and destroy the people because they are already breaking their vows in adultery (The Golden Calf); it is only Moses stepping in as the people's mediator that saves their lives by saving their marriage to God.
