The Harvest of the Holy Spirit

Proposition: In the fullness of time the Father and the Son sent forth the Holy Spirit to indwell in us and to begin the great harvest of souls for the glory of God. We are both the fruit of the harvest as well as instruments through whom the Holy Spirit completes His work. Jesus told us to “Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.” Let us rejoice in the incarnation of the Holy Spirit and be about our Father’s business.
