The First Visitation

Your covenant Jehovah God visits you in order to expose any wrongdoing, and to bring sin to light through a full confession of wrongdoing. However, you are, by nature, loath to receive His visits. Therefore your covenant God deals with you firmly but gently in order to evince a full confession of sin, with a view to re-establishing true fellowship with Him.
