Dealing with Sin

In verses 5-9, Paul elaborated on the lives of those who put their minds on things above. In so doing, they put off their old sinful ways. Then in verse 10, being oriented toward things above (verse 2) means not only putting to death the old humanity, but also affirming and living as part of the new humanity in Christ.
