Purpose: Today we shall consider what is a deacon and what are the qualifying characteristics of a deacon so that we would know what to look and pray for in a deacon and also to grow in these characteristics ourselves.
What is a deacon?
Deacons must have integrity (v.8)
Deacons must be committed to the faith faithfully (v.9)
Deacons must be tested (v.10)
