Into the Den

We see how Daniel's enemies used the letter of the law divorced from the law's intent in order to condemn him. We also see Darius publicly saying that Daniel's God was greater than the king and could do what the king had failed to do, namely, deliver Daniel from the den. The king's confidence that Daniel's God would deliver him is evidenced by him sealing the den's entrance.
