Drawing Near To Your Children Through Play And Affection (Ignore Introduction)

58

It is the good times with our children that give us the emotional credit to withstand the bad in terms of our relationship with them. Discipline should be a blip on the relational screen but this is only possible if our relationship has a firm grounding in a long history of play and affection. So called “quality time” can never replace “quantity time” when it comes to our relationship with our children. Nor should competition be viewed as play. Something is fun when it is fun to the child and our children should look back on their relationship with both mom and dad and reflect on all the fun they had together.
