Drawing Near To Your Children Through Their Spiritual Development

When did the spiritual development of our children become the primary duty of women and teenagers? This is certainly not the Biblical model. Fathers, with the support of their wives, instructing and disciplining their children in the ways of the Lord is the Biblical model. Sunday School is a helpful para-parenting ministry but should not become the central conduit of spiritual instruction, this should always be the role of the father as spiritual head of the home. Thus the public display of the disciplines of discipleship by the father in the home becomes paramount.
