The Place of Good Works in our Fellowship with God

In this lecture Rev. Matt Kortus gives an explanation of the theology set forth in recent decisions of the Synods of the Protestant Reformed Churches of America (specifically 2018-2020). This lecture was originally intended for only the members of the Hope (Redlands) PRC where Rev. Kortus serves as pastor. The purpose of the lecture was to provide clarity on these matters and thus promote unity in the truth. After hearing the lecture, the consistory believes it could be helpful to a broader audience and thus has decided to make it available here. One thing to note as you listen: when Rev. Kortus gave this lecture in person, he made use of the stairs leading up to the pulpit to help illustrate and make clear what he was saying. Since this lecture was originally intended for the congregation and was not video recorded, Rev. Kortus does not always specify verbally which step he is walking along as he speaks.
