Thankful, And Praying For More

Paul's example of prayer in Ephesians 1>15-23 encourages us to regularly thank God for His work of grace in our fellow believers and to pray for the Holy Spirit to enable them to more fully know God and grasp their future hope, their value to God, and His unmatched power for them.

1. Thanksgiving for God's saving work
   in fellow believers (1:15-16)

2. Petition for God's further work by
   the Spirit (1:17-19a)

3. Doxology for God's great power in
   exalting Christ (1:19b-23)
