Paul’s most comprehensive instruction on prayer follows admonitions to stand fast in spiritual warfare. We are strengthened with God’s mighty power through the blessings conferred in communion with the God who created, sustains and redeems us. We are to pray with all prayer and supplication. This includes prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, intercession and petition. We were made to live our lives Corem Deo, before the face of God.
