A Yearning Heart For God That Is Merciful

Jesus said blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be satisfied. What does it mean to hunger for God, to thirst for Him? You have to do it to become a Christian and to demonstrate that you are a Christian. Regarding the merciful, they shall receive mercy. I call this the great kingdom law of reciprocity. Those who show mercy, receive mercy. In fact, Judgment Day is in those terms - those who showed merciful enter into the kingdom forever.
