Jedd Medefind: Zeal & Knowledge

On today's Worldview Wednesday segment of the Knowing The Truth Radio Program (sponsored by World Magazine), I will speak with Jedd Medefind, president of Christian Alliance for Orphans. We will discuss the American Missionaries in Haiti facing kidnapping charges for trying to take 33 children out of the country.

Update: CNN is reporting this morning (Tues. Feb. 9th) that the missionary group had be stopped eariler in the month by Haitian police as thy tried to remove 40 children from the country. The officer said that he stopped the group and ordered the children off the bus. He then directed the missionaries to Dominican Embassy. Haitian officials have confirmed the officier's version of the event.

Some parents in a village outside Port-au-Prince said they had willingly given their children to the Americans, who promised them a better life. The parents also said they had been told they could see their children whenever they wanted. But the Dominican consul general has said he warned the group's leader, Laura Silsby, about trying to cross the border without proper documents.
