Union With Christ - The Coming of the Spirit, Part III

This sermon completes the consideration of Christ as the Man of the Spirit, and examines the role of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' death, resurrection and ascension/enthronement. For many, this topic goes no further than establishing the fact of Jesus' bodily resurrection and ascension and the Bible's witness to the Spirit's role in those events. The goal of this sermon is to show that the matter of concern in the Spirit's relation to Christ's resurrection and ascension isn't the mere fact of those occurrences, but what they represent in terms of eschatological fulfillment and the inauguration of the new creation and new age of the Spirit.
