The Lord ended the Sermon on the Mount by telling the parable of the two housebuilders, in Matthew 7:24-27. A solid foundation hold up the superstructure, and in contrast the absence of a solid foundation results in total disaster. It is a terrible thing to have a life without a Spiritual foundation. Ephesians 2:19 The Church has a spiritual foundation, with Christ as the cornerstone.

(II) An encouragement to Stability
(III) A challenge to Separation.
