Leviticus 11:14; Job 28:7; Isaiah 34:15
The King James Version uses the word 'Vulture' for a variety of hebrew terms signifying such things as 'rapid flight' or 'screaming'. They have reference to eagle-like birds of prey, larger or smaller. Alternative suggestions include such as kites, falcons or hawks. They all have the curved beaks and sharp talons common to birds of prey.
