Finishing Well

At the end of another year, despite the best, or worst, attempts of the Devil, despite discouragements along the way, we are still 'in the faith'.

The world may say that we are fools for believing in God, but He is determined that we should persevere. As the apostle Paul tells us, He, God, is able to keep us. Christ did not die in vain, a people He will have. Our salvation is guaranteed, for it is true that we are 'sealed' with The Holy Spirit of promise.

Of one thing we can be sure, there will be grace given to us as we proceed into a new year. God will contend for us, and if The Lord has not returned by then, or taken any of us to our eternal home, then even if we are still here upon this earth at the conclusion of this next year, it will be well with our soul!
