Living a Full Life - Message 1 - Full Joy. The First Epistle of John was written to show us how to have an assurance of salvation, live an abundant Christian life, and obey a new command (that we love one another). John begins by bearing witness of the truth about who Jesus is. He focuses on the fellowship we have in Christ and shows that because God is Light and the forgiver of our sins, we can have full joy in our lives.
