Hebrews 13:1-25

Heb 13:1: God wants us to take his Word and tell everyone else, to spread the love. Let brother love continue, not brotherly. We're to love because we are brothers, not just like we were brothers. Let the trivial arguments go.
Vs2: “angels” means “messengers”, and this verse means that God still sometimes still sends angelic messages to us.
Vs3: put yourself in somebody else's place when they are going through hard times, to see how they are feeling before you make a judgement call.
Vs4: Marriage is a unique institution that God created between a man and a woman, and no man is to mess it up.
Vs5: this is your manner of life, how you live, how you behave. This is your love of money – make sure you don't exhibit a love of money. It's what you use it for that makes it good or bad. Like and want what you have, not what you don't have.
Vs6: The world situation is becoming worse everyday, but don't worry or be afraid. The Lord is your helper. He says it will only get worse, up to the tribulation times.
Vs7: You are to remember those people who are guiding you in God's word. Remember them, listen to them, and take seriously what they teach. Do they walk the talk? Do they do what God's word says to do? You have an obligation as a congregation to follow our pastor as long as our pastor follows the Word of God. Use the pastor as a guiding light, as a role model. If he doesn't follow the Word of God, don't follow him.
Vs8: Jesus Christ is the same for all the ages. He has never changed, never has, and never will. Our circumstances change, but not the Lord's.
Vs9: There are many doctrines going around today, and we call them cults................
