Persistent Prayer

Jesus exhorts us to 'keep on asking', to 'keep on seeking', and to 'keep on knocking'. In context, this has to do with persistent prayer for grace on the part of God's people to live the Sermon on the Mount. And attached to this exhortation is a sure promise - we will be given grace to help us in our time of need.
