Ready to Preach the Gospel
Series JustificationByRepresentation
150 ( 37 | 113 )
Beginning the study in Romans we ask five questions. The last is "Why Did Paul Write Romans?" He had A Historical Motivation, A Pastoral Motivation and A Doctrinal Motivation. He set forth the doctrine in chapters 1-5. He called it a "form" in 6:17. It declared why God was just to condemn and why God was just to justify. God justified by righteousness earned, accepted, and imputed. Where? When? How? By Jesus' obedience and death.
