Seeing Jesus in Everything

She had written in her older Bible, the blue one, by Jeremiah 3:11-15 "10/5/08, Bro Nick Holden, Wonderful Sermon" and today, January 10, 2020, I, as your pastor, can return the blessing and say to her, "The life you lived and led was a WONDERFUL SERMON that showed us Jesus."

Momma Rob's Home Going Service (January 10, 2020)

We all preach our own funerals by the life we lived. Some just preach a better message than others. She preached a great one...

In the front of her older Bible, the blue one, she had this written in it.

"There's always a reason for that unexpected cross..."

"If I see God in EVERYTHING, He will calm and color EVERYTHING I see."

"Jesus delivers us FROM something TO something"

And in several places throughout:

"Don't let your mess ups mess you up..."

In her Newer Bible she had:

I found:

"My mess ups don't have to mess you up..."

In Isaiah 43

Momma Rob has written, in her own handwriting,

"Comfort my people." (43:1)

"The First and the Last" and He has spoken.

The Alpha and Omega, He who had the first word over her and the the last word.

"This is me." (43:7)

Whom I called by My name.
Whom I created for My glory.
Whom I carefully formed and made.

"Lord make me willing" (Isaiah 21)

"Bro Nick likes this scripture" (Isaiah 9:6-7)

"Keep your mouth shut." She UNDERSCORES, "LISTEN TO HIM!" (Luke 9:35)

And this:

"Who can I help today?" (Luke 10:25-37).

Grudges won't ever make you a better servant but forgiveness will.

Grumpiness is not a way to influence and impact and invite others to do their part in the work of the kingdom and life.

Glory for self is always unprofitable and never
