Dwelling On A Thing — My Well Feeds My Dwell

57

Can I ask something personal and practical?

What wells are you drinking from? The life water you're dropping your bucket in is showing up in these areas of your life... your thinking, believing, DWELLING and living.

Remember this little phrase and I think it will help you reflect on the source of your dwelling.

Say this..."My well feeds my dwell." Just remember that. Say it one more time. "My WELL feeds my DWELL." Your dwelling is telling... it's telling on the source of your well. Say that with me, "My dwelling is telling!"

My well — your well — the life water we're drawing from — is feeding what we dwell upon. We all DWELL from the WELL we're drinking from. If what your dwelling on is what you despise, change your well. Don't forget, the bucket and it's rope are in your hands. But moving from one bad well to another isn't the answer.

Ditch water can hydrate you but its contaminates will eventually dehydrate and cost you when it's all said and done. A contaminated well, no matter how refreshing it may temporarily be, will contaminate every bucket and life that drinks from it.

If you keep DWELLING on the wrong kind of thinking and believing all the wrong things, get your bucket out of that well, it's poisoning your living.

So quit filling your water bottle with the ditch water of life and start drinking the living water of Jesus. Let's learn from the Master and His ministry... may we all follow His love and lead and make plans to visit His well this morning.
