Good Works

Some say that the preaching of grace is the denial of good works, but nothing could be further from the truth. At issue is the matter of "What is the purpose of good works?" They do NOT serve the purpose of populating heaven - the good work of the Lord Jesus Christ alone fulfilled that purpose. But good works serve the purpose of showing forth the love of God to a watching world and are profitable to the kingdom of God as we walk along the path of discipleship.
