A lesson on the trinity. The word "trinity" is not in the Bible but the doctrine of the trinity is important to salvation. What is the trinity? God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three separate but equal parts of the Godhead acting as one. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
