Modern Lessons From An Ancient Rebellion

This sermon deals with rebellion against spiritual leadership. The spirit of rebellion that caused the people of Israel to spurn the land of Canaan manifests itself again as Korah leads a rebellion against Moses and Aaron.

-- Words of caution-There is danger in harboring resentment and jealousy against a fellow believer and much pain and havoc created by actively campaigning against a fellow believer. There is also danger in refusing to submit to the leadership that God has appointed for the church.
--Words of comfort-Spiritual leaders can expect opposition to come, but the same God who was sufficient for Moses will prove to sufficient for them. Also, God will always uphold His cause.
