The Angels are Servants, the Son is God

This letter was written to challenge the original readers to persevere, to not give up, and to stay faithful as they faced problems and pressures brought on because of their commitment to Christ. The writer began by reminding them of the superiority of Christ to Judaism. In this section they were reminded of the the superiority of Christ to the angels who are but servants and He is God. Christ who, as the eternal and divine Son, is back in heaven sitting on His eternal throne in anticipation of the appointed day when He will return to earth to sit on the throne of David.
