In this story we see a woman go from being a Gentile dog to a child of Abraham because of her great faith in the Lord's power to heal her daughter. Her persistence in spite of overwhelming obstacles is an example for all. This story is a perfect illustration of Hebrews 11:6 and what Paul describes in Romans 9.
