Tongues: A Sign Gift During Transition

In this first installment of our look at the "Signs and Wonders Movement", we are going to take a look at the controversial practice of speaking in tongues (unlearned languages).

We will focus on what the purpose of God giving men this gift really is, as found in the book of Acts. We will also expose one very destructive heresy by pointing out what the purpose is NOT--namely the necessary evidence of the receiving (Baptism) of the Holy Ghost.

In a future message, we will look at the legitimate, Biblical practice of speaking in tongues during this Transition and compare that to what we see in today's "Signs and Wonders", Pentecostal and Charismatic churches.
