Luke 18:15-17

Introduction

I. Children & the Kingdom of God (15-16)

A. They were bringing even infants to Him that He might touch them.

B. They were bringing even infants to Him that He might touch them. (1 Pet. 2:2; 2 Tim. 3:14-15; Lk. 1:41, 44; 2:12, 16)

C. They were bringing even infants to Him that He might touch them.

D. They were bringing even infants to Him that He might touch them. (Matt. 19:13; Mk. 10:16; Acts 6:6, 8:17, 13:3; 1 Tim. 4:14 w/ 2 Tim. 1:6)

E. And when the disciples saw it they rebuked them. (18:27)

F. But Jesus called them to Him, saying, “Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God.”

II. Adults & the Kingdom of God (17)

 • As a child
 • As we receive little children
 • In the same way that infants receive it
