Left Behind: The Exodus From The Episcopal Church

On today's "Calling For Truth" Radio Program we will discuss an article in today's Washington Post written by the Rev. John Yates and Os Guinness, entitled "Why We Left The Episcopal Church". The Rev. John Yates is rector and Os Guinness is a parishioner of The Falls Church, one of several Virginia churches that voted last month to sever ties with the Episcopal Church.

In the article, Five Theological Reasons are given as the driving force behind the exodus of not only these two prominent figures in the Episcopal Church but also for many other congregations that have come to similar conclusions.

Beyond their immediate application (i.e. with the EC) these Five Theological points provide a framework for evaluating other ecclesiastical defections as well.
