John 12 - Christ's Spring of Living Waters

The Woman at the Well highlights how to discuss salvation with anyone; however, it is more than just a soul winning lesson. In this passage, John shows why everyone hated Jesus as Messiah. Christ negated all other forms of practice by saying that after Pentecost all believers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth anywhere. This did not negate the past value of the Jews as keepers of the Scriptures, but it did remove them from their place of self-importance uniting them in hating Christ.
