The Present and Eternal Fruit of Temporal Afflictions Part 1

New years 2008 sermon: The Christian Life is one of difficulty and trouble. (Job. 5:7, Acts 14:22) What are some of the keys to persevering in trials? How can we view our sufferings in the light of Eternity? Why is the Apostle Paul such a great example for us?

This the first of two messages intended to change our perspective on trials. They need to weighed on the scales of eternity, then they will found to be light and momentary.
We must embrace difficulties and sufferings in this life with joy, looking at the what is unseen. In this process, we are being further Sanctified and being conformed into the image of Christ.

By God's grace, we will then be a people who forsake murmuring, practice biblical contentment. True Christians should be those who wholeheartedly embrace what our Sovereign God brings into our lives, knowing that His ways are best.
