The Sermon on the Mount

Nearly one year into His ministry Jesus gives His very famous Sermon on the Mount. It is a fifteen minute sermon that one could spend a lifetime meditating upon. This is the teaching that may have been the Lord's stock message in every village He taught in. What should amaze us, shock us, and surprise us about this sermon is what Jesus tells us to do in it.
