Made with the Blood of Jesus Christ

God's way of salvation demands the shedding of blood, but the only blood that can remove the guilt and consequences of human sin is the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man in one Person, the Second Person of the Godhead. On the cross, our Savior shed his blood, answering for all time the ancient curse God called down on himself when he made his covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15.
