How God Restores Wasted Years

Wasted years and time mis-used: can we turn the clock back and do it all again? Of course not. There are no "do-overs" as far as this earthly life is concerned. But, there is a word of comfort from God to those who might otherwise despair over their wasting of time and of life: "I will restore unto you the years that the locust hath eaten..." But how?
