Personalities of Epiphany

In the account of the Epiphany we see three personalities: the Wise Men, Herod, and Joseph and Mary. We see the devotion and wisdom of the Gentiles who came to worship Christ, the folly and evil of Herod who thought only of himself and this world, and the love and faith of Mary and Joseph who shared the trials of Christ and preferred to suffer with him than to enjoy this world's empty glory.
