Persistence for Christ

These were Elijah’s last days on earth.
He knew it and Elisha knew it.
Elijah was anxious for the future of the kingdom.
Elisha was anxious for his own ability for all the responsibilities of the future.
Maybe we stand at the threshold of his New Year with similar anxiety.
We all have more questions that we have answers.
Elijah offered Elisha one last blessing before his departure.
