The Angel's Announcement

In this brief two-part series, Pastor Chris Anderson focuses our attention on Luke chapter 2, and shows us the heart of Christianity encapsulated in our Savior's magnificent birth announcement. Here's an excerpt from part 1:

“There was never a birth announcement like this birth announcement. The Angels of God announced the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.

“The Angels!

“They tell us that … He is but a baby, wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. There is nothing special about his appearance, but although He is lying in humility, the announcement tells that this is the very Son of God.”
