'Where There Is A Will...'

166

“Where There is a Will, There is a Way”
Romans 12:1-2; Colossians 1:9-14

Have you made your list of “do's and dont's” for 2008?

Put this at the top of your list: “Therefore I urge you brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:1-2

Big Idea: What matters most in ‘08 is the will of God.

Colossians 1:9-14
One request: “Filled with a knowledge of His will….”

Three results:
Transformation (v. 10)
Triumphant (v. 11)
Thankful (vs. 12-14)

Privileges we don't deserve.
Perils from which we have been delivered.
Pressures from which we have been freed.
