The Faith That Saves The Soul

Hebrews 11 is well known as the Hall of Faith, but have we considered why the writer to the Hebrews gave such a list of worthies who triumphed through faith. There was a reason. It was to exhort the Hebrew converts to persevere in the liberty of the gospel against all opposition. To draw back would be disaster even perdidion. We are called to an enduring faith as displayed in Hebrews 11. Thereby we shall keep looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
