What happened to the swords?

The Israelites were a people that were slaves down in Egypt. As such swords were not issued to them, yet when they left Egypt and were forced to fight they had swords. Obviously those weapons were part of the plunder they took. Now a few hundred years later and they only have two left, what happened to the swords? Christians what about our spiritual swords, where are they?
